Students and researchers seeking assistance in applying data and statistical analysis to their research can now take advantage of virtual labs online.
Librarians and data experts at the Academic Data Centre (ADC) are now offering daily virtual labs for student consultations Monday to Friday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The University of Windsor’s Leddy Library invites applications for a Twelve (12)-month Limited-Term Academic Ancillary Staff Level I, Learning Specialist in the field of Academic Data and Statistical Consulting, commencing as early as May 1, 2020. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

In the technological age of information, analytics, and statistics, almost everything we do can be converted into research data. For the Leddy Library’s new academic data librarian, Berenica Vejvoda, the data collected from our everyday actions has the potential to solve problems, assist decision making, create new knowledge, and tell compelling stories.
Leddy Libraries’ Librarian Research Series will continue Friday, May4th at 11:00 with the presentation, “Finding Strength(s): Insights on Canadian Aboriginal Physical Cultural Practices”. Data Librarian, Kristi Thompson and colleague and co-researcher, Victoria Paraschak from Human Kinetics will be presenting their interesting collaborative research on the Canadian Aboriginal community and their physical cultural practices.
