Self Check Kiosk

The library's self check kiosk allows patrons to sign out books from our collection on their own using a UwinCARD . The self check machine was introduced to provide some additional privacy and convenience for interested patrons. 

Using the machine is simple and instructors are provided as prompts on screen.
 

1. Get started by scanning your UwinCARD.
2. Scan your book's barcode (located at the back of the book). 
3. Slide the book backwards in the cradle to desensitize it so it doesn't trigger the gate alarm.
4. You'll be able to print a receipt for your loan and check information about you library account. 
5. If you have any problems, please check with the staff at the Information Desk for help.

Please note that items held behind the desk like course reserves, accessories and laptops must be checked out at the desk. Any fines or lost item charges must also be handled at the Information Desk.
