Copyright is the exclusive legal right to produce, reproduce, publish or perform an original literary, artistic, dramatic or musical work (Government of Canada, 2022). The creator is often the copyright owner, however, rights are sometimes transferred between creators and employers, publishers, and other entities. These webpages, hosted by the Leddy Library, attempt to address the relationship between copyright law and the work of the University of Windsor in order to best promote research, teaching, learning and library services.
