Local students will have the opportunity to turn new pages of history this September — pages of a comic book, that is.
A 10-page comic book along with a
teachers’ guide is the latest development to grow out of the Breaking the Colour Barrier: Wilfred (Boomer) Harding and the Chatham Coloured All-Stars project.

The public is invited to a Map Sale this week in the Leddy Library.
Leddy Library is offering all its United States Geographical Survey topographic maps for purchase at 25 cents each — cash only.
The sale will run 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., May 13 to 17, in the library’s basement Media Centre. For directions, visit the Information Desk.
