Leddy Library's collections are developed and stewarded by professional librarians who work closely with faculty, students, and staff to support learning, teaching, research, and creative activity at the University of Windsor. Our Collection Development Policy guides how we plan, select, acquire, and maintain these collections.
Because our collections need to stay relevant to current programs, and our budget is finite, we periodically assess materials and may withdraw those that are outdated, inaccurate, damaged, low use, or no longer relevant to current academic programs. Before any withdrawal is finalized, we consult stakeholders such as faculty in the associated areas. This page links to current and past collection reviews. We encourage you to share comments, questions, or concerns with the point of contact for each review.
