Access to personal study rooms and computer workstations will be closed during the 4-week province wide emergency shut down beginning Monday, April 5th. Contactless Pickup and Digital Delivery will continue to be available Monday through Friday. 

Remote hours of operation are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Please refer to our homepage and Frequently Asked Questions for the latest updates on our remote services, accessing the library building, and hours of operation. Be sure to login to your account to access all of our resources from off-campus.

Leddy Library invites applications for a Limited-Term Learning Specialist

The University of Windsor’s Leddy Library invites applications for a Twelve (12)-month Limited-Term Academic Ancillary Staff Level I, Learning Specialist in the field of Academic Data and Statistical Consulting, commencing as early as May 1, 2020.  This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Workshops to explore new ways to showcase research and scholarly activity

Leddy Library’s Centre for Digital Scholarship will kick-off two workshop series next week to help researchers explore new ways to showcase their research and scholarly activity.

The first series, Creating Digital Exhibits, includes four workshops on how to create unique digital exhibits to showcase scholarly work and research.

Upcoming Library Tours

Start the new year off with a library tour and find how out Leddy Library can help you power through the semester!

Library staff and librarians will conduct 20-minute tours of the building and its facilities starting at the information desk at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, January 21 to 23.

Students who attend may enter a draw to win a $50 gift card to the Campus Bookstore.

The tours are free with no need for advance registration.

Campus stakeholders invited to participate in the Leddy Library transformation consultation day

A new and improved library may be on the horizon for UWindsor students, faculty, and staff.
The Leddy Library Master Space Planning Committee is hosting the first of several consultation days over the next six months to determine how to transform the library space into an innovative campus hub for learning, teaching, research, and creative activity.

Integrated library system update taking place December 19 - January 6

From December 19th to January 6th the library will be updating its integrated library system. The update is taking place during the holiday break to minimize disruptions during exams while ensuring we are up and running as quickly as possible for the Winter 2020 term.
As a result, there is an important service change for the Library’s Course Resource List system during that timeframe.

Changes to funding requirements prompt move to raise awareness of research data management

Campus researchers are invited to take part in Research Data Management Day on Tuesday, Nov. 26 in the Student Research Collaboratory at Leddy Library.

With changes to the Canadian federal granting agencies on the horizon, Leddy Library has teamed up with the Office of Research and Innovation Services, the Office of the Research Ethics Board, and Information Technology Services to offer a half-day information and consultation session on research data management.
