Author Donates Book about Founding Member of School of Nursing

Mr. Vincent Courtenay has generously donated a copy of his latest book “The Good Nurse: A woman’s heroic service during World War Two”.  The book follows the life and death of his sister, Irene Courtenay, who was one of the founding members of University of Windsor’s School of Nursing.  The donation will be added to Leddy Library’s nursing collection and will be available to borrow soon. 

A reception was organized by Mary Louise Drake, a retired Nursing professor, yesterday in honour of Irene Courtenay’s lifetime contributions.
