Historical Abstracts is an exceptional bibliographic database that covers the history of the world—excluding the United States and Canada—spanning from the 15^th century to the present. Topics covered include world history, military history, women’s history, history of education, and more. Historical Abstracts provides indexing of more than 2,300 academic historical journals in over 40 languages—some of which date back as early as 1955. This resource does not include access to full-text.

Provides access to the geoscience literature of the world. The database contains references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses. The GeoRef database covers the geology of North America from 1785 to the present and the geology of the rest of the world from 1933 to the present. The database includes references to all publications of the U.S. Geological Survey. Masters' theses and doctoral dissertations from US and Canadian universities are also covered.
