Dr. Shuzhen Zhao is metadata and cataloguing librarian. She is also the liaison librarian for the University of Windsor’s International Student Centre and teaches information literacy skills to students enrolled in the English Language Improvement Program (ELIP). Shuzhen holds a PhD in education from the University of Windsor and a master’s degree in library and information science from Western University. Shuzhen’s research interests include information literacy, metadata management, practices for international students’ information literacy training, and qualitative and quantitative research methods. She has many years of experience working in Canadian university libraries dealing with metadata, electronic resources management, reference services, information literacy training, and information organization. Shuzhen has published articles in journals such as Journal of Academic Librarianship, College & Research Libraries, and Practical Academic Librarianship, etc.
