A Message from the University Librarian

Welcome to the website of the Leddy Library at the University of Windsor!

Through these web pages the library is accessible to you 24 hours every day.  Here you  will be able to access  the library’s robust collection through our  single search interface, which provides a gateway to the wealth of available scholarly content, including print, electronic and digital collections down to the article and citation level.

Faculty members will see that they have access assistance; find Your Librarian, who can assist in multiple ways, including in the development of student assignments using library resources.  Students are also encouraged to contact Your Librarian for focused assistance on research projects and presentations.

Please take advantage of the services available through our knowledgeable librarians and staff, including chatting with a Librarian online (Ask), getting Research Help and Writing Help, ordering materials from other libraries (Racer), or contacting the Academic Data Centre (ADC) for your research projects.

You’re invited to browse the Southwestern Ontario Digital Archive (SWODA) and the growing collection of materials in our institutional repository Scholarship@UWindsor, or read about important institutional policies related to Open Access  and Copyright on the uWindsor campus.

Besides offering a variety of spaces to accommodate single or group study as well as comfy seating areas for reading or relaxing, Leddy Library houses almost 300 computers on nine floors for use by the members of our campus community (Computer Help) along with publicly available computers in the main library building for use by community users.

We invite you to browse these webpages, use our resources either online or in person, and submit any questions, comments or suggestions to
