English Conversation Group at Leddy

Welcome to the English Conversation Group @ Leddy!

Everyone is welcome! Whether it’s through games or presentations, everyone gets a chance to speak and practice their English skills in a fun, safe, and supportive atmosphere. We encourage you to participate to whatever level you feel comfortable. Come on out and join us!

We meet on Thursdays at lunchtime during the Fall and Winter semesters.

For the Fall 2021 semester, the English Conversation Group will meet online using Blackboard Collaborate to discuss topics relevant to life in Canada and at the University of Windsor and will be joined by a few guest speakers over the course of the semester. Students who are interested in practising English in a casual and welcoming environment are encouraged to join.

The sessions will take place each Thursday from September 16th to December 9th.

No registration is required, just stop by and say hello:

Students who attend 6 or more English Conversation Group sessions during the fall semester will be entered in a draw to win a $25 Amazon gift card! The more sessions you attend, the greater your chances of winning.

We encourage students to self enroll in our ECG organization site on Blackboard to receive updated information about activities and to access all of our English Conversation Group resources and weekly topics.
