Bahamian Storytelling Chant
“Once upon a time was a ‘wery’ nice time; monkey chew tobacco and spit out lime.”
So once upon a time there were hellos and goodbyes.
Adieu to "66" archival series. Adieu to 2024.
It is only fitting in this season that the final blog image contain a holiday scene, which is that of the blog writer as a UWindsor student at the annual Laurier Hall floor Christmas Party (early 1980s).
Santa and elves were always in attendance at the festive occasion.
My roomie, Juliette Storr (Dr), and I also placed in the Door Decoration Contest.
And as promised, in this final edition of the "66" series I give you a taste of yesteryear's photos from the personal archives of CARISAn, Andrea Henery-Rohlehr,
whose collection was donated to the UWindsor Archives and Special Collections at Leddy Library, Windsor, ON, Canada.
Happy Holidays and Merry 2025!
Bahamian Storytelling Chant
“Be bo ben, my ole story end.”
