Leddy Library is thrilled to share that the third volume of the Journal of Canadian Baseball is now available! Established and edited by co-director of the Canadian Centre for Baseball Research Andrew North, University of Windsor Professor of Economics Dr. Christian Trudeau, and Leddy Librarian Dr. Heidi LM Jacobs, The Journal of Canadian Baseball publishes both popular and scholarly research on the rich and diverse culture of baseball in Canada. This annual open access publication shares new, original research that broadens our understanding of Canadian baseball and extends the existing conversations in new directions. The journal is particularly interested in exploring the diversity of Canadian baseball at all levels, from all areas and regions of Canada. Articles are published in both English and French.
The Journal of Canadian Baseball has been hosted on Leddy Library’s instance of Open Journal Systems since its inception. The journal’s launch in 2021 was highlighted on the Leddy Library website at the time.
Leddy is immensely proud of the ongoing partnership between the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research (CCBR) and the University of Windsor that this journal represents.
