Mike Graston’s Editorial Cartoons, 1981-2016: History as it Happened (Nov. 16 - 27)

The University of Windsor’s Leddy Library will present Mike Graston’s Editorial Cartoons, 1981-2016: History as it Happened, an exhibit celebrating the donation of Graston’s extensive collection of political cartoons to the Leddy Library’s archives and Special Collections.  

Mike Graston, a long-time political cartoonist for the Windsor Star, has donated a collection of more than 2,600 original editorial cartoons to the Leddy Library Archives and Special Collections.

This significant donation of Graston’s artwork presents a unique look at local, provincial, national, and international events spanning three and a half decades and supports University of Windsor teaching and research.

The exhibit will be on display at the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts (SoCA) building, the former Windsor Armouries, located at 37 University Ave East, from Wednesday, November 16 to Saturday, November 27.

The exhibit will be free and open to the public on the following dates:

Wednesday, Nov 16 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, Nov 17 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, Nov 18 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Nov 19 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, Nov 20 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov 23 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, Nov 24 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, Nov 25 - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, Nov 26 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, Nov 27 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
