The University of Windsor Archives and Special Collections will be participating in Doors Open Windsor on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
Deep in the basement of the Leddy Library at the University of Windsor, you'll find a fascinating collection of manuscripts, photographs, and special published works. For Doors Open, Archives & Special Collections (ASC) welcomes the public to come and see highlights of its diverse historical collections, spanning from the 1600s to the 2000s.
Visitors will see a selection of books, photographs, and original handwritten documents reflecting the history of Southwestern Ontario and the art of book publishing since the invention of the printing press. The ASC space may be utilitarian, but its contents are anything but!
