Definitions: Grant co-applicant/co-investigator: An individual, participating in a grant application, who makes a significant contribution to the intellectual direction of the research or research-related activity, who plays a significant role in the conduct of the research or research-related activity. Publication co-author: An author who participates sufficiently in the work to take public responsibility for its content. Co-authors should review and approve the manuscript, at least as it pertains to their roles in the project. Co-researcher: An active member of the research team who makes significant contributions to the intellectual direction of the research or research-related activity and who plays a significant role in the conduct of the research or research-related activity. Consultant: Available to provide expert advice at various stages of the research data lifecycle from the planning phase to project completion.
