Leddy Library is pleased to announce the opening of a new breastfeeding room, designed to provide a private, safe, and welcoming space for parents on campus. The breastfeeding room reflects the library’s ongoing commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our campus community.

Equipped with amenities such as a refrigerator, electric kettle, comfortable seating, and a diaper change table, the space offers a supportive environment for parents to care for their children while balancing academic, work, and family responsibilities.

The room is available for students, staff and faculty during regular library hours. Bookings can be made online and keys can be signed out at the circulation desk when you arrive. Booking online ensures the room will be available when you arrive.

Users are asked to help maintain the space by cleaning up after each use, using the change table and diaper bin appropriately, and ensuring the room is vacated 30 minutes before closing.

This initiative builds on the success of the Child-Friendly Study Room introduced in 2024 and continues Leddy Library’s efforts to create inclusive, supportive spaces for the entire campus.
