Social Justice and Sexual Health Research Archive

ODESI is a repository of Canadian statistical data, in particular surveys by Statistics Canada released under the Data Liberation Initiative. Surveys of note include the annual General Social Survey, the 1993 Survey of Violence Against Women, and the annual Cannadian Community Health Surveys.

ICPSR General Archive
ICPSR is the world's largest archive of social science data. The archive is international in scope but most resources are American. The general ICPSR archive contains literally thousands of surveys that might be used in Women's Studies; a few targeted ones include Women in Parliament, 1945-2003: Cross-National Dataset, the Women in Development series, International and Domestic Trends in Sex Trafficking of Women in the United States 1999-2000, and many others.
ICPSR also contains some special collections of interest, such as the Health and Medical Care Archive (HMCA) and the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging (NACDA).

Murray Research Archive Data: Family, Marriage, Women
The Murray Research Archive houses both qualitative and qualitative research data and includes several collectioons focusing on diverse and marginalised groups. Application must be made directly to the centre for data access.

World Values Surveys
The World Values Survey (WVS) is an international series of surveys studying changing values and their impact on social and political life. The surveys are carried out in 97 societies including Canada. There have been five waves of surveys between 1981 and 2007, with the next beginning in 2010.
