Berenica is the Research Data Services Coordinator at Leddy Library. In this capacity, she is responsible for coordinating and managing Research Data Services. She also work towards the development and deployment of research data management services for the University of Windsor community as part of a campus-wide initiative. Berenica also serves as the Academic Director for the University of Windsor's Branch Statistics Canada Research Data Centre.
Berenica's research interests focus on social determinants of health for marginalized populations with an intersectional lens. Berenica also has a keen interest in research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative), especially relating to large sample and population-based surveys as they are used for secondary data analysis. Prior to joining Leddy, Berenica worked as a data librarian at UC San Diego, the University of Toronto and McGill University.
