NYSE/AMEX/Nasdaq daily and monthly security prices and other historical data for over 24,000 companies, updated annually.
The University of Windsor has access to the following Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP) database available on the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) platform:
NYSE/AMEX/Nasdaq Stock Database: daily and monthly security prices and other historical data for over 24,000 companies; updated annually
General access to CRSP via WRDS: use this for basic research, teaching and study purposes and if only occasional acess is required.
Users will be asked to enter their University of Windsor email account. WRDS will then send an email message to the account to verify that the account is valid. This email will contain an Access Pass link which the user can click on to get direct access into WRDS.
Register/Login to CRSP with your WRDS account: faculty, staff, PhD students, and research assistants may also request a WRDS account. An account allows unlimited access via the web, SSH, and/or FTP. It also includes 750 MB of home/projects storage.
