Students and faculty have access to many statistical and other data software to support their research. Access to statistical and other data software is possibe through virtual machine access, from on and off campus.
On campus, researchers can access statistical and other data software remotely from any machine on the main floor of Leddy Library, including the West side of the building, as well as from the main workstations in the basement. These machines are on a first-come-first-serve basis and virtual access access from these machines is for 2-hour blocks at a time.
Additionally, two virtual machines can be booked remotely from off campus in advance for 2-hour sessions at a time. Reservations can be made, here.
Please note: Any data stored on the virtual machines are wiped out daily for security purposes, so it is essential research data is saved to your own media such as an external device such as a USB key or copied to your institutional OneDrive.
