Web of Science

Search for bibliographic records and citation data across several Web of Science databases.

Using Web of Science, researchers can: "navigate forward in time" by dynamically tracking how many times an article has been cited since publication; "navigate across time" to find an unlimited number of relevant items that share one or more cited references through Web of Science Related Records function; "navigate backward in time" by reviewing Cited References that link to a full record display; and search all cited authors, not just first authors for articles in the database.

The library provides access to the following Web of Science databases:

  • Web of Science Core Collection (1900-present)
  • KCI-Korean Journal Database (1980-present)
  • MEDLINE (1950-present)
  • Preprint Citation Index (1991-present)
  • ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Citation Index (1637-present)
  • SciELO Citation Index (1997-present)

SciFinder

Registration is required before use.

Search for chemistry literature, patents, and data.

SciFinder is the largest chemical information database, providing access to journal articles, patents, and data about chemical substances. Bibliographic information is sourced from the Chemical Abstracts and MEDLINE databases, and experimental and property data is sourced from CAS Registry.

SciFinder allows you to search for information in three unique ways that are critical for finding chemical information:

  • Search by text words
  • Search by substance structure
  • Search by reaction

 Notice

To access SciFinder you must register for a SciFinder account. You must access SciFinder while connected to the university network, either on-campus, on the VPN, or by using the library's proxied link above "Connect to database".
