Have you met FRED?

Leddy Library invites students, faculty, and staff to come out on Wednesday, January 23 between 12:00 - 2:00 to meet FRED, the Windsor Public Library bookmobile.

FRED, short for the Freedom to Read Educate and Discover, is the Windsor Public Library on wheels and directly delivers a plethora of both recreational and educational materials conveniently to campus for students to borrow.

With a Windsor Public Library membership students, faculty and staff can take advantage of an extended collection and get access to popular books, DVD’s, magazines, games, international, national and local newspapers as well as thousands of e-resources including popular digital streaming apps like Kanopy and Hoopla that provide members access to thousands of movies, documentaries, eBooks and audiobooks. In addition, they offer pre-loaded tablet loans and even a tool lending library!

All University of Windsor students, faculty and staff are eligible for membership.

To set up a membership during FRED’s visit, please come prepared with your valid UWincard, one piece of government-issued photo ID and document with your current mailing address.
