Course Reserves in Brightspace Ready for Winter

With the winter term approaching, this is a quick reminder to faculty that the library is here to help support your class. With the launch of Brightspace in Winter 2023, we are still receiving some questions about whether Brightspace and Leganto will be ready to go for this winter. We're happy to confirm that everything is ready to go. Faculty can easily connect new and existing Leganto lists to their course site. The Library’s course resource and reserve system (Leganto) helps you connect your students to millions of library resources directly through your Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) course site. Faculty can create customized and engaging reading lists that include your course textbooks, articles, eBooks, streaming videos, open educational resources, and print reserves. Library staff can collaborate with faculty to seamlessly process readings, clear copyrights, and digitize materials. Students benefit from easy access to course content without extra cost.  

For those faculty using Teams or other course delivery platforms, please reach out via phone or email for help with using Leganto in your course. You can still use Leganto independently of any LMS.
