The Writing Support Desk provides free workshops on topics related to academic writing, including
- sentence structure,
- punctuation,
- transitions,
- pre-writing strategies,
- essays structure, and
- citing and referencing.
How to access a WSD workshop online- Ensure you have access to the WSD Blackboard page under 'Organizations.' If you do not, use the self-enrollment link below go gain access to the workshop you wish to attend.
- Log into Blackboard and select 'Organizations' and then 'Writing Support.'
- Select 'Virtual Lounge' from the menu.
- Select the workshop you wish to attend from the list. Workshop rooms will open approximately 15 minutes before the start time.
