A multidisciplinary abstract and citation database covering over 19,000 titles, including 18,000 peer-reviewed journals (including 1,800 Open Access journals), 400 trade publications, and 300 book series. Also includes scientific web pages, patents, conference proceedings, and articles in-press.
Using Scopus, researchers can: "navigate forward in time" by dynamically tracking how many times an article has been cited since publication; "navigate across time" to find an unlimited number of relevant items that share one or more cited references through Scopus' related records function; "navigate backward in time" by reviewing cited references that link to a full record display; and search all cited authors, not just first authors for articles in the database.
