A multi-disciplinary collection of nearly 13,000 titles, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals and more than 5,000 in full-text. Coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects. Includes:

Full runs of nearly 600 titles, from the period 1800 to 1900. Some titles exist only in a single copy; such is the fragile state of much nineteenth-century printed material. The collection contains over six million pages of nineteenth-century journalism, sourced from the British Library, the National Library of Scotland and other specialist libraries, that covers the events, lives, values and themes that shaped the 19th century world. For the over 180 periodicals currently available, every front page, editorial, article, poem, recipe, advertisement and classified ad that appeared within their pages for the time period available is accessible and one is able to search every word on every page.
