Group, Graduate and Quiet Study Areas

Purpose and Scope:
To describe areas in the library for group, graduate and quiet study

Group Study Areas
On the first floor of the Main building and on each floor of the West building there are number of areas where large tables exist to enable group study.

Single/Group Study Rooms
There are EIGHT designated single/group study rooms on the third floor of the main building and the second and third floor of the West building of the Leddy Library. To use these rooms, patrons should inquire at the Circulation Desk. Rooms are available for 3 hours and can accommodate 1-4 people. Keys are barcoded and must be signed out at the Information Desk. Rooms cannot be pre-booked in advance and are only available for University of Windsor Students.

Graduate Study Carrels
Currently, all of our graduate study carrels have been allocated. We encourage all graduate students interested in having access to a study carrel to put their name on the Study Carrel Waiting List at the Circulation Desk. Please be aware that a $50 key deposit is required when your application is successful.

Quiet Study Area
The second and fourth floor of the main building of the Leddy Library and the third floor of the West building have been designated as quiet study areas.

Note: Graduate Study Carrel applications and keys are in the bottom left-hand drawer of the front desk near the exit to the main lobby. The waiting list is on the bulletin board near the reserve DVDs.
