Access to Study Space, Computer Workstations, and Contactless Pickup is available Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Remote hours of operation are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday. Please refer to our homepage and Frequently Asked Questions for the latest updates on our remote services, accessing the library building, and hours of operation. Be sure tologin to your account to access all of our resources from off-campus. Changes to our loan policies may cause issues renewing items for some users at this time. 

 

Community College - borrowers and privileges

Purpose and Scope: 
To outline the borrowing privileges for Community College Faculty (St. Clair and Lambton College)
Procedures: 

Faculty and Administrators from St. Clair College and Faculty from Lambton College are eligible for free External Borrower’s Cards from Leddy Library.

• have patron complete an External Borrower’s Application
• please note name of institution and title on the application (e.g. Lambton College, Faculty)
• patron must provide photo identification and verification of address
• patron must provide identification as “faculty” or “administrator” (in case of St. Clair College)

• User Group: Community Borrower
• Primary identifier: patron’s email address
• Expiration date: 1 year
• Add Note: name of Institution & title (e.g. Lambton College, Faculty)
• Privileges: 15 item limit
14 day loan period
block on account for any library fines
no interlibrary loan privileges
no remote access to subscription databases

• give Patron a UWin Guest card; make a label for the card with his/her name, institution and “Faculty” or “Administrator” underneath; affix it to the front of the card
• place a 21862 barcode over the number on the back of the card
• give patron a copy of Services for External Borrowers
