Most publishers now have standard policies that cover authors options for providing open access to their work AT NO COST by posting in an OA repository like Scholarship at UWindsor.
What Version of my article can I post?
Most publishers permit posting of the accepted manuscript version of the article - though in a few cases the published version may be premitted. The image below illustrates the difference in versions.
Below is a table of quick info on publishers and their article posting policies. If you'd like to see something added for a particular publisher please contact us at (email@example.com). You can also search for your journal on Sherpa/Romeo.
Embargo requirements: Your article can be posted in Scholarship at UWindsor immediately with an embargo period added if necessary. The full-text will automatically become available for download once the embargo ends. Embargos are typically counted from the first online publication of the article.
