Windsor-Essex Community Health Profile contains data compiled from several Statistics Canada sources.

Windsor Census Metropolitan Area National Household Survey profile, 2011, and Census Profile, 2011. The NHS contains data that was previously collected in the Census.

Statistics Canada Tables by Metropolitan Area: Windsor is a directory of tables covering Windsor including Labour Force / employment, population characteristics, housing prices and construction, etc. Not everything available, but a good starting point.

The Statistics Canada tools GeoSearch 2011 and GeoSearch 2006 lets you use a map interface to zoom in on an area of interest. When you reach a high enough level of zooming streets and streert names will become visible to allow you to pinpoint the exact location. You need to pick a level of geography such as census dissemination areas or census tracts; they will become available to select after you zoom in far enough. The "additional data" tab lets you download detailed census data for the selected areas.

The Canadian Census Analyzer at the University of Toronto gives quick access to download detailed census tables.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has a Population Report which gives a good overview of poverty.

CANSIM is Statistics Canada's time series database. It contains thousands of tables which cover a wide variety of social and economic aspects of Canadian life, including health conditions, disabilities, pregnancy outcomes, deaths by cause, health service spending, etc. As with the census, many tables are only released for provinces or for all of Canada, but some city, county or health region data is there, so it is always worth checking.
