Our team at the Leddy Library’s Academic Data Centre is here to help faculty and students discover and analyze both numeric and geospatial data, as well as support the use of data in teaching and research. The Centre provides a variety of research data services including statistical software instruction, research data management consultations, and data visualization creation.
In addition, the Center provides access to datasets, assists with the creation of graphs and maps, and helps interpret statistical methods and procedures.
Berenica Vejvoda - Data Librarian
Berenica is a Data Librarian at the Academic Data Centre, Leddy Library, University of Windsor as well as the Academic Director of the University of Windsor Branch Research Data Centre (also located in Leddy Library). She is responsible for the provision of expertise in discovering, accessing and using numeric data and supporting the instructional and research data needs of faculty and students at the University of Windsor. Berenica is also involved as part of a larger collaborative, campus-wide initiative to implement a Strategic Institutional Plan to support research data management for the university. Berenica’s research interests focus on social determinants of health for marginalized populations.
Carina Luo - Geospatial Data Analyst
Carina is a Geospatial Data Analyst at the Academic Data Centre, Leddy Library, University of Windsor. She is responsible for the provision of expertise in developing and delivering geospatial data services and programs offered to members of the University of Windsor community. Carina’s research interests are in the field of GIS and data analysis with diverse application areas in crime and public health, food environments, and higher education.
Rong Luo - Learning Specialist
Rong is a learning specialist in the Academic Data Centre, Leddy Library, University of Windsor. She is responsible for providing statistical advice and statistical software (R, SAS, STATA, SPSS) support to members of the University of Windsor community.
